Below, you will find some examples of work that I have completed. These will be examples that were either requested by friends/family or they were directly from my imagination. A lot of the requests were specifically in the genre and niche of invitations, birthday cards, birthday events, and/or wedding cards/invitations. A lot of these designs were also practice as you can see where the growth of the items I made continues to get more detailed. I love being able to show these examples, not only the progress, but also the ability to do more for my customers/clients. I love to be able to make customized and personalized items for those who cannot find these items elsewhere. Most of the orders that are requested are items that are specialized for every individual.
Everyone has a unique palette and love for their favorites, whether it’s colors, designs, or the things they collect – we all have our inner children inside who still love the bright colors, or the taboo topics that might have been shamed or neglected. I don’t believe in that. I think we all have a place in our adulthood that should embrace that scared inner child who loved the odd-ball things. Personally, when I was growing up, I loved the bright neon colors – pink, blue, neon green being mixed with sparkles, glitter, stars (think early 2000s, raver emo scene queen LOL) but this was something that brought me such weird joy, and I still find myself gravitating to these colors, schemes, and designs! When I was a little girl, I loved to color! We spent hours, my sister and I, having a contest between each other as to who can color the “better” picture. And still to this day, I will pour myself a cup of tea or coffee, turn on an audio book, and get lost in coloring books with my color pencils for hours.
We all have inner children who want to be loved and accepted. Which is why I love to make things that might not necessarily be mature for adults our age, but quite frankly, being serious all the time is necessary to thrive, but having fun is required too. I also love to make things for children too, of course. We need to keep the children embracing their imagination, creativity, and craziest dreams – that’s how we can create brand new beautiful things!
